Kentuckians self-advocates

message.

Hello, my name is Willard Joe Trammell,

I am President of (KYSAFF), Kentucky Self-Advocates for Freedom. I have 27 years of experience as a person who has been in the business of helping people with disabilities like myself.  I am also Co- founder of a group called the   Southeastern Kentucky People Who Care, the first group of people with disabilities that have helped many people with and without disabilities.  Being a person with a disability myself I plan to, as your President approach things with a team effort.  There is no such thing as single in an organization, but a team of people working together to make the life better for people with disabilities. Therefore, as your President in KYSAFF I will see to it that all meetings begin on time and have order to them. There will be an agenda and the agenda will be followed. Meetings need to be used for the greater good of the organization.

There are supports that attend the meetings that are happy to be a part of this organization and who are glad to give their time to support the self advocates, but this is not the only job they have. So the sooner they can get back to their jobs the better for them. I will make sure that our time is spent wisely and effectively for the good of the group. I will make all decisions using a team approach. I am very honored that you have chosen me to be your  President of KYSAFF

And I look forward to working together to  make us all the best we can be.

Thank you,

Sincerely,

Willard j Trammell

President
